This is a budgeting estimate only, not a universal savings claim. Prices, blade life, technique, frequency, products, subscriptions, shipping, taxes, and other costs vary. Include applicable costs in your entries without double-counting. Recurring consumables are independent for each system and accrue by year, even with zero shaves.

Purchase counts begin at zero inventory: no already-open unit or starting stock is modeled. Startup entries represent setup only; any included blades must be accounted for in your inputs to avoid double-counting. Packs are purchased whole; leftover units are unused purchased inventory, not a cash credit. Period shaves remain unrounded for costs.

Durable break-even checks each integer shave through the selected horizon. It is the first state where safety costs no more and never costs more at any later integer shave in that horizon. At shave zero only startup counts. The final fractional shave is included in horizon costs but is not an integer break-even state. This is not a guarantee beyond your chosen horizon.

Annual shaves = shaves per week × 365.25 ÷ 7. Units needed and packs purchased round up separately. Totals = included startup + whole-pack purchases + annual recurring × years. First-year totals always use exactly one year. All-in cost per shave is not applicable with zero shaves.

All calculations use unrounded values. USD displays to two decimals; displayed sums can differ by the last cent due to rounding. Weeks and months are approximate. No entries are transmitted or saved.
